This is the mother of Japasaw and Kocoum and their older brother The Great King of the Patawomeck; unfortunately nothing is known about her, not her name or date of birth, only that she was their mother and was of high position in the Patawomeck tribe. Japasaw was the younger brother of the Great Chief of the Patawomeck, a chiefdom comparable to that of Chief Powhatan Paramount Chief of the Powhatan Confederacy. It is known that this was a position inherited matrilineally, through the mother, therefore 'Great Chief of the Patawomeck' and Japasaw both inherited their positions as Paramount Chief, and Under-Chief of Passapatanzy because of who their mother was. Kocoum was identified as the younger brother of Japasaw, placing him in the same family. Unfortunately nothing in known about who her husband or parents were or when she died.
