Thomas Brookes Thomas Brookes, born at Staffordshire [Staffordshire, England] on 7 May 1641, About his parents FamilySearch says.. This profile seems to have conflated family and other information from several different men. One named George Brooke and the other(s) with a surname of Brooks or Brookes. All sources attached to this profile spell the surname as Brooke, but some of the purported children have surnames of Brooks & Brookes. It's highly unlikely that a man would have 2 sons named Thomas, 2 sons named George, and 2 sons named William. One of the 2 sons named Thomas was supposedly born 5 years before his parents married. It's impossible that his daughter Anne would have two different mothers. He appears to be having children by his 1st wife after he married his 2nd wife. Please remove the children that don't belong with these parents and provide sources for valid evidence for those that do belong. Please don't just copy information from unreliable sources such as family trees at Ancestry.com, MyHeritage.com, etc. Died (At most 27 years old) at York [Colony of Virginia, British Colonial America] before 24 Juni 1668. marries (resp. at most 21 and at most 22 years old) at Essex [Colony of Virginia, British Colonial America] before 1662 with Susannah , born at Essex [Colony of Virginia, British Colonial America] [St. Anne's Parish] in 1640, died (around 59 years old) at Essex [Colony of Virginia, British Colonial America] around 1699. From this marriage one daughter:
