Mattie Lee Holloway and John Ragin Broughton Family I was corresponding with Jo Branch who was looking for information about the "Lee" family in Bradley County, Arkansas. She came across this headstone at Shady Grove Cemetery, "Mattie Lee wife of J. R. Broughton" and wondered if Mattie was part of this "Lee" family. After searching the censuses and marriage records, this is what I found. She was not a "Lee." It appears to be her middle name. I hope the following information is helpful to someone.
