William Gale Skinner
William Gale
   (William
  , William III
   ) Skinner
  ,
born at Chowan County [Province of North Carolina, British Colonial America] in 1760,

Perhaps brother of Benjamin W Skinner,
In de memory-text of Benjamin Skinner on Find a Grave it says: "His siblings were Jesse, Sarah and William Skinner III."

In de memory-text of William Gale Skinner on Find a Grave it says: "Son of William Skinner Jr and Sarah Ann Skinner; brother of Benjamin W, Sarah and Jesse Skinner. William committed suicide."

I found other sources for William (Gale) Skinner, but within that data there was no connection to a Benjamin W Skinner or the other siblings Jesse or Sarah.
Therefore, there is no proof that this is the mentioned brother.

This is not the same person as this William III Skinner,
See note on Benjamin W. Skinner.

Contradictive data in sources.
In source: Descendants of Richard Skinner in North Carolina, it says William Gale died young.
Possibly because in the will of his father General William Skinner (15 Aug. 1797), William Gale is not mentioned, but brother William,
son of wife Dorothy is.

Died (Around 59 years old) at Richmond County [Georgia, United States] on 11 Juni 1820,
buried at Augusta [Georgia, United States] [Skinner Cemetery].
